Job Description

Medsolve are delighted to be working in partnership with a wellrespected residential and nursing care service who provide a range of care and support services for residents.

An exciting opportunity is available for a Regional Manager to join their team on a permanent basis and ideally based in the North East.


(PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT Offer Sponsorship)


Salary: 50000.

As Regional Manager you will provide leadership direction support and quality assurance. This will include developing detailed action plans and supporting homes to promote and safeguard the interests of the people we care for. With expert CQC knowledge and a handson approach when needed you will be a visible and critical part of our senior operations team.


Reporting to our Chief Operating Officer you will also be aware of the need to work in line with agreed financial and other performance targets including those relating to Marketing and HR.


As a Regional Manager you will be:

Provide leadership direction and support to the Home Managers and care teams within your region.

Develop and support care and nursing teams to ensure the wellbeing and interests of residents are safeguarded promoting highquality personalised care.

Be a visible part of the senior leadership team including working the oncall rota for outofhours support.

Ensure full CQC compliance and uphold the highest standards of care in line with regulatory requirements.

Work closely with the Directors and Chief Operating Officer leading a programme of continuous improvement.

Manage performance in line with agreed financial and operational targets including HR and Marketing objectives.

Ensure that each home operates efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of care and support for residents.


What we are looking for in a Regional Manager:

  • Extensive operational management experience in the care home sector.
  • Proven track record of working in a care setting with a strong understanding of both care and nursing services.
  • Expert knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
  • Handson leadership style with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in managing performance targets.
