Job Description
Dental Hygienist Needed in Atlantic Beach FL
Join our dynamic dental practice located in the beautiful city of Atlantic Beach FL! We are committed to providing exceptional dental care to our patients in a warm and welcoming environment. Our team is dedicated to delivering highquality services while prioritizing patient comfort and satisfaction. As we continue to grow we are seeking a talented and passionate Hygienist to join our team.
Seabreeze Dental is modernizing modern dentistry but also maintaining its traditional values by putting the patient care first. Theyve created a multispecialty approach unlike any other in the area to simplify the dental process for every patient by allowing us to offer a widerange of services not usually available in one office. With this added level of care and keeping all procedures inhouse they can provide a level of service that s unattainable at other practices.
We are currently seeking a FullTime Monday through Thursday skilled Hygienist to join their practice in Atlantic Beach FL. The ideal candidate will be available to start ASAP committed to delivering outstanding patient care possess excellent communication skills and work well in a collaborative team environment.
Desired clinical experience:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in FL
- Strong communication skills and a positive patientfriendly attitude
- Knowledge of dental software for charting and documentation
- CPR certification is preferred
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- 1year clinical experience preferred open to new graduates
Schedule: Monday Thursday
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Typical Daily Duties
- Perform Dental Cleanings: Provide thorough scaling polishing and root planing procedures to remove plaque tartar and stains from patients teeth.
- Patient Education: Offer personalized oral hygiene advice and demonstrate proper brushing and flossing techniques to maintain oral health between visits.
- Dental Screenings: Examine patients gums and teeth for signs of oral disease or abnormalities such as gingivitis or oral cancer and report findings to the dentist.
- XRays: Take and process dental Xrays as needed ensuring the proper positioning and protection of patients during imaging.
- Documentation: Record detailed notes of patient visits including current conditions treatments provided and recommendations for followup care.
- Apply Preventive Treatments: Administer fluoride treatments and sealants to strengthen teeth and prevent cavities.
- Assist the Dentist: Support the dentist during procedures providing any necessary tools and ensuring patient comfort.
- Sterilization & Infection Control: Maintain a clean sterile environment by properly sanitizing instruments and equipment between patients and adhering to OSHA and infection control standards.
- Patient Comfort: Ensure a calming professional atmosphere by addressing patient concerns and providing a relaxing experience for all ages.
