Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced software designer to strengthen the team responsible for maintaining and further developing their group insurance application. You will be involved in programming and developing new features as well as maintaining existing ones.
Role
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Cobol
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with SQL (DB2)
- Knowledge of JCL is a plus
- Team player but also able to work independently
- Excellent communication skills (proactive)
- Experience in the insurance sector and in large IT departments is an advantage
Language Skills
- Fluent in Dutch or French with at least a strong understanding of the other language
- Fluent in English
