Adelphi is seeking a Medical Director to provide both clinical and administrative services at a facility located in Elkhorn Wisconsin. Evaluate staff training programs to ensure nursing competencies and address identified gaps. Recommend education programs to improve outcomes and tailor training based on the resident population (e.g. geriatrics mental health). Identify specific training needs (e.g. ventilators IVs trachs) and establish a system to track training effectiveness. Ensure competencybased training includes practical skills and critical thinking in complex care settings not just online modules. Conduct initial examinations within 72 hours of admission and schedule followups as needed. Commit 20 hours per month to medical director duties and provide attending physician services. Be responsive to policy updates and available for Department of Health Services surveys and investigations. Partner closely with residents ensuring all physicians complete their tasks. Meet regularly with clinical management to discuss care delivery and attend monthly QAPI meetings. Any other duties assigned by the Department.
