Job Description
- Advise and guide internal teams and stakeholders throughout all project phases from conceptual design to project completion.
- Utilize MEPLA AutoCAD and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software to produce comprehensive structural designs and detailed calculations for glazing and aluminium systems.
- Perform and verify complex structural calculations ensuring compliance with UK regulations Eurocodes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with architects designers and project managers to develop innovative solutions that meet both aesthetic and structural requirements.
- Ensure the successful integration of structural elements within the broader architectural vision while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Chartered Structural Engineer (CEng) within the UK.
- Expertise in architectural glazing architectural aluminium facade engineering and producing related structural calculations.
- Proficiency in MEPLA AutoCAD and FEA software tools.
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects delivering accurate and efficient solutions under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills capable of advising and liaising with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience in working on highend and complex architectural projects is a plus.
