Senior Manufacturing Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes lead continuous improvement efforts and ensure manufacturing excellence for our medical device portfolio. In this role you ll drive design for manufacturability (DFM) implement costsaving measures and maintain the highest quality standards in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process optimization and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Develop validate and maintain manufacturing procedures in compliance with ISO and FDA regulations.
- Drive costreduction initiatives through innovative solutions and process improvements.
- Oversee equipment qualification efforts (IQ/OQ/PQ) and manage new product transitions.
- Design fixtures and tooling to enhance production performance and reliability.
- Manage documentation including work instructions and engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Provide technical leadership to support production operations and resolve complex issues.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure manufacturability and optimize product costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering preferably within the medical device industry.
- Expertise in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings specifications and process planning.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and experience with technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of machine shop processes including milling turning and grinding.
- Proven problemsolving abilities and strong collaboration skills across functions.
- Selfmotivated with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
