Job Description


Job Summary

Join our premier plastic injection molding facility in Royalton Vermont as a Senior Material Management Specialist. This role is critical to ensuring smooth production flow accurate inventory control and efficient scheduling within our complex manufacturing environment. Located just 20 minutes north of White River Junction off I89 this position offers the opportunity to work with innovative technology in a toptier manufacturing environment.

Shift Details A Shift:

  • 12hour shifts: 3 days one week 4 days the next (with 8 hours of overtime paid at 1.5x).
  • Shift Schedule: Sunday Tuesday and every other Wednesday 6 AM 6 PM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage material flow to and from the production floor.
  • Operate and maintain the Motan material handling system.
  • Coordinate with purchasing for raw material procurement.
  • Perform inventory control tasks including regular cycle counts.
  • Execute shipping and receiving duties as needed.
  • Ensure proper material drying and setup for uninterrupted production.
  • Maintain lot traceability and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Conduct BOM (Bill of Materials) audits for new production jobs.
  • Implement and sustain 5S practices on the production floor.
  • Place authorized purchase orders for production supplies.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in materials planning scheduling or logistics.
  • Strong background in inventory control and cycle counting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes (preferred).
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification (a plus).
