Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a local business strategy that aligns with the companys global goals driving growth and market expansion.
- Oversee daily operations across all functions including customer service marketing sales finance and IT ensuring processes are efficient and objectives are met.
- Ensure the business complies with all local regulations including antimoney laundering (AML) Know Your Customer (KYC) and other relevant financial regulations. Serve as the primary liaison with local regulatory authorities.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks. Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with banks payment providers financial institutions and business partners to support operational needs.
- Drive customer growth by collaborating with marketing and product teams to implement local campaigns promotions and community engagement strategies.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) analyze metrics and prepare reports for senior management. Implement corrective actions when targets are not met.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the local team. Ensure effective communication across departments and foster a culture of compliance and operational excellence.
- Experience with digital wallets payment solutions or blockchain technology.
- Background in compliance management or legal advisory roles.
- Familiarity with MASAK regulations (if applicable) and other international crypto compliance standards.
- Established network within the local financial services industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics Law or a related field. A Masters degree or MBA is a plus.
- 10 years of experience in business management with at least 35 years in a senior leadership role preferably in the fintech financial services or crypto industry.
- Strong understanding of local cryptocurrency regulations financial compliance and operational management.
- Experience working with regulatory authorities and handling compliancerelated matters.
- Proven ability to optimize operations and implement efficient processes.
- Strong leadership communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in Turkish and English.
