Construction Manager - Buildings

AECOM Colombia is seeking a Construction Manager Buildings for its office in Bogota/Colombia.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the overall project administration during the construction phase including goal setting and policy development.
• Provides leadership and guidance to direct reports ensuring adherence to company and project policies. Serves as the primary client interface.
• Ensures project execution is aligned with design budget and schedule through effective management of subordinates.
• Manages the project lifecycle from preconstruction planning to final project closeout encompassing procurement shop drawing coordination and construction.
• Leads complex projects within a program management framework serving both public and private clients.
• Ensures seamless coordination across all project phases from initial planning to final handover.
• Responsible for client/project development resource management and supervision of construction activities as they relate to contract administration and management of scope schedule budget quality safety and change management.
• Responsible for overall project performance including job profit and loss for Construction projects. Job duties include but arent limited to: coordination and integration of multidisciple project functions including but not limited to construction project controls quality and commercial administration in a manner to meet project operational and business objectives.  Responsible to establish a culture of safe work performance. Activitly engaged in developing and managing client relations.  
• Plans schedules and coordinates projects to repair alter and renovate building structure and installed equipment and supervise a multidisciplined construction workforce performing work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications :

Minimum requirements:

• Civil Engineering or Architecture with 8 years of experience or demonstrated professional equivalence with Specialization masters or doctoral degree in Construction Project Management or Project Management.
• Experience must be as a Project Manager for vertical buildings with institutional cultural scientific technological office and/or commercial uses totaling at least 45000 square meters of construction in the last 10 years.
• Must possess three (3) certifications each requiring a minimum of 6 months of experience.

Additional Information :

Preferred experience/requirements:

• 20 years of professional experience required beginning from the date of licensure.
• PMP Certificate is a plus.
