You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailOur Renewables and Energy Solar team are seeking graduates within their Glasgow or Edinburgh office to join from Jan 25 onwards.
About our Team
Successful candidates will be deployed to work predominately on solar projects however will have the opportunity to work on different projects providing electrical support for the following types of technologies.
Projects include all stages of design from feasibility to detailed design and site construction supervision both in the UK and internationally. Our clients are a mix between large energy utility generators to private developers.
A typical project example:
Lancaster University Solar Farm AECOM was awarded the contract following the Clients successful planning application for a private wire ground mount solar farm PV development. AECOM completed a reference design and prepared a full pack for tendering; this included the preparation of technical specifications and clients requirements. AECOM are currently acting as the NEC Project Manager and Owners Engineer during the build and commissioning of the site.
Heres what youll do:
Supporting the delivery of consultancy services on renewable energy engineering projects including undertaking site visits / supervision.
Providing input into feasibility level studies for renewable energy projects in conjunction with wider AECOM teams.
Preparation of technical reports.
Preparation of detailed design information.
Assisting in securing work with renewable energy developers and their supply chain.
