Started in 1995 Soap Central provides latest news indepth recaps exclusive interviews and behindthescenes insights from the leading soap operas.



The Opportunity
Experience: 12 years
Role: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write 45 articles a day.

  • Review reality TV shows (thorough research skills mandatory).

  • Monitor daytoday controversies and news centering on the shows keep tabs on social media trends and become familiar with Google Trends.

  • Pitch interesting story ideas.

  • Open to feedback from the editorial team.

  • Able to meet deadlines available for realtime coverage of offfield angles when they re pushed out.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in English/ Journalism/ Mass communication is preferred.

  • Has at least 2 years of experience in entertainment reporting.

  • Understands industry terms and has previous success in breaking entertainment reporting.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.

  • Willing to work in the night shift (7PM to 3AM IST).
