WaterWastewater Process Engineer

AECOM is actively seeking a creative highly talented Intermediate Municipal Water/Wastewater Process Engineer for fulltime employment based in the Markham ON office.  

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Design a variety of multidisciplinary municipal water and/or wastewater projects including studies engineering design design reports approvals contract administration and warranty services. 
• Support the production of engineered drawings including review and approval of final design
• Perform and review engineering design calculations in support of design packages.
• Prepare detailed contract specifications including equipment selection and liaison with equipment suppliers and vendors.
• Consistently deliver on each project to achieve toptier industry benchmarks for quality and overall project delivery.
• Participate in business development activities including the development of proposal submissions.
• Effectively maintain and develop healthy client relationship throughout the project execution and project closeout.
• Create a team environment that supports AECOMs Client focus where employees meet the expectations requirements and agreements of our Clients.
• Define the project quality requirements. Ensure compliance with AECOM and Client quality policies and procedures.
• Provide mentoring and technical support of junior staff.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements :

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Environmental Process Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field  .
• 6 years of experience working with municipal Water/Wastewater infrastructure.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible within 612months.
• Process engineering knowledge and application to water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with steam and incinerator system design 
• Interest/experience with Project management
• Strong organizational interpersonal problem solving and analytical skills 
• Motivated team player independent organized with strong business acumen
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in common desktop packages i.e. Word Excel MS Project
