Job Description
We are currently looking for a BIM Modeler (Mechanical Electricity Plumbing) to support one of our clients on its infrastructure (bridges civil constructions...) and building projects.
Within a project team following instructions issued by the lead Engineer the BIM modeler MEP will create design and coordinate the graphic models.
- To design create and coordinate graphic models based on instructions given by the Engineer.
- To comply with the Health/Safety guidelines set out in the Project Safety Plan.
- To develop his/her knowledge within his/her field and in design tools.
- To take part in the dimensioning of simple installations/equipment based on standards regulations codes of practice and internal guidelines.
- To issue/collaborate to the quality insurance plan related to her (his) field of expertise.
- To establish design principles for installations/equipment/structures.
- To collaborate with the Owner and the other designers in developing the project design.
- To guarantee proper dimensioning of the installations/equipment/structures.
- To control and monitor the creation and progress of any graphic materials and any measurement overviews.
- To control and validate the produced documents (analysis brief) before delivery.
- To structure files and organize computerassisted design.
- To create measurement overviews (BOQ).
- To develop his/her knowledge within his/her field and in design tools BIM collaboration platforms...
- To take part in verifying implementation documents.
Requirements
- Good Knowledge of 2D & 3D drawing tools (Stabicad Revit)
- Knowledge of Drafting Autocad
- Knowledge of 3D modelling electrical systems high & low voltage systems
- Knowledge of 3D modelling ELVsystems: Data Networks video surveillance Access Control fire detection Digital Signage audiovisual sound reinforcement Public Address/Voice Alarm automation and controlcommand and / or BMS
- Knowledge modelling HVAC systems Aeraulics hydraulics piping ventilation thermal energy production (heating cooling steam)
- Knowledge modelling plumbing systems
- Design Standards (ISO NEN CIBSE...)
- Autonomy collaborative reliable
Good knowledge of Dutch (the client is dutch speaker) - Good knowledge of English
