Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Minneapolis MN

Service Setting: Hospital Infusion Center Outpatient

Coverage Type: Scheduled On Call

Coverage Period: 03/06/2025 Ongoing

Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Friday 8A 5P

OnCall Shift Schedule: Weeknight and weekend

Call Type: Beeper

Call Ratio: 1:1

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults

Patient Volume/Census: 30 40

Admissions: Yes

Rounding: Yes

FACILITY INFORMATION

No. of Beds in Department: 590

Trauma Level: Adult III/IV

EMR System: Epic

Support Staff Available: 2 MDs and 2 APPs

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Special procedures: Benign hematology preferred

Skills required: Medical Oncology Infusion Coverage Acute Leukemia experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active MN License or IMLC

BLS

DEA

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive Hematology and Oncology care in hospital infusion center and outpatient settings.

Focus on inpatient rounding and infusion center services.

Participate in oncall coverage including weekend rounds and consultation availability.

Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals including 2 MDs and 2 APPs.
