Job Summary:
The Document Controller is responsible for managing and organizing all onsite project documentation to ensure accuracy accessibility and timely distribution. This role is critical in maintaining efficient document control processes and supporting project teams with accurate and uptodate information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the document log and archive for all project documentation.
- Ensure proper storage and accessibility of documents for onsite teams and stakeholders.
- Distribute project documents promptly to relevant parties ensuring timely delivery.
- Track and manage document revisions to ensure the latest versions are always in use.
- Archive obsolete versions systematically to maintain organized records.
- Maintain accurate records of document changes distributions and receipts to ensure traceability.
- Prepare regular reports on documentation updates and activities.
- Assist in preparing reviewing and managing sitespecific documentation and reports.
- Provide support to project teams in adhering to documentation standards and processes.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 35 years in document control preferably within the construction or engineering industries.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in document control systems and relevant software.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of documentation.
Working Conditions:
- Location: Onsite.
- Hours: 8 hours per day 6 days a week.
- Vacation: 1 day off per week.
