Job Description
The Financial Accountant plays a critical role in an organizations financial health by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The job involves preparing financial statements ensuring compliance with accounting standards and analyzing financial data to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensure all financial practices align with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Audit Coordination: Work with internal and external auditors to conduct audits and ensure financial integrity.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Ledger Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Tax Management: Prepare and file tax returns ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience: Several years of experience in accounting or a related field with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey financial concepts to nonfinancial stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Ethical Standards: High level of integrity and commitment to ethical financial practices.
