Our client is a topnotch technology company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Work with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and create scalable maintainable software solutions.
Develop integration solutions that enable smooth communication between microservices APIs and external systems.
Assist in the creation of continuous delivery processes automation frameworks and pipelines to enhance the experience for developers and customers alike.
Enhance database interactions and maintain data integrity across distributed systems.
Establish and uphold best practices for messaging integration and data pipeline architectures.
Identify and pursue opportunities to improve our automation processes and tools.
Acquire new skills and promote a mindset focused on continuous delivery and cloudfirst approaches.
Requirements
Experience with technologies such as microservices and REST APIs as well as databases like MySQL and MongoDB. Knowledge of AWS (including Lambda S3 API Gateway CLI ECS EKS) or Google Cloud Platform is essential.
A minimum of 10 years in software development is required with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
The ability to initiate and implement new product lines from start to finish is crucial.
Proven experience in applying Agile methodologies Scrum and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including coding standards code reviews source control management (SCM) continuous integration (CI) build processes testing and operations.
Experience in a managerial position at an international finance or tech company is advantageous along with a solid development background.
Strong leadership skills are necessary for team building motivation coaching and mentoring engineers to support their career growth.
Familiarity with code and change management processes is required.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders across different countries while managing conflicting priorities is important.
A deep understanding of software quality DevOps environments and microservices technologies is expected.
A proven track record of collaborating with crossfunctional teams in a distributed environment is essential.
Experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred.
