partner staffing on behalf of our Client we are seeking a Junior/Intermediate Mechanical Revit Designer to contribute to the design and drafting of mechanical systems for commercial buildings. Developing designs including HVAC plumbing and Fire. This role requires proficiency in Revit a keen eye for detail and a passion for developing highquality functional designs that align with project goals.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to develop mechanical designs including HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems for commercial and mixeduse buildings.
- Create and modify detailed 3D Revit models and 2D drawings based on engineering designs and project specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes standards and best practices.
- Coordinate designs with architectural structural and electrical disciplines to identify and resolve potential clashes or conflicts.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and assist in preparing schedules and material specifications.
- Support project documentation including maintaining drawing records and adhering to project delivery timelines.
- Participate in design reviews team meetings and site visits as required.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology Drafting Technology or a related field.
- 2 5 years of experience in mechanical design focusing on commercial building systems.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential; experience with AutoCAD is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems in commercial applications
- Familiarity with Canadian building codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problemsolving.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with energy modeling software or sustainabilityfocused projects is an asset.
- Familiarity with mechanical system design in mixeduse or highrise buildings.
- LEED certification or commitment to sustainable design principles is a plus.
