Summary:
Are you ready to bring your energy and skills to the warehouse floor As a Warehouse Dock Worker youll play a vital role in ensuring freight and goods move efficiently and effectively. From loading and unloading shipments to maintaining a clean and organized workspace youll be a key player in keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Use forklifts pallet jacks and manual handling to load and unload shipments with precision and care.
- Inspection: Perform accurate spot checks on shipments to ensure quality and detect any damages.
- Organization: Keep the dock area clean organized and ready for the next round of action.
- Safety: Operate equipment safely and adhere to workplace safety protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the crew to ensure timely and accurate shipment processing.
Qualifications
- Attitude: Positive proactive and ready to get the job done.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or dock experience is preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Equipment Skills: Familiarity with forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Teamwork: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
