About the department:

The BYD After Sales Service Center manages service and maintenance for our fully electric vehicles across Europe. Key responsibilities include building a robust aftersales service network providing technical support calculating Life Cycle Costs to assist sales expanding the spare parts business and delivering training programs. Focused on ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty we are now looking for a Training Support Assistant for the Aftersales Training Section. This role will be vital in organizing aftersales training and supporting training executives and engineers in delivering training to service providers and customers.

About the role:

The Training Support Assistant will play a key role in supporting the Aftersales Training Section by assisting trainers in organizing and delivering training sessions. This role involves managing operational and administrative tasks related to training coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring a seamless posttraining experience.

Work location: Hounslow London

Responsibilities

  1. Program operations:
    • Scheduling and coordination of training sessions workshops and other educational activities.
    • Develop and maintain training materials manuals and multimedia aids.
    • Ensure that training programs meet the needs and organizational goals.
  2. Administrative Support:
    • Manage trainees registrations and maintain training records.
    • Coordinate with trainers and subject matter experts to develop curriculum.
    • Handle logistics such as booking venues and arranging necessary equipment.
    • Preparation the training requirements such as (cars tools equipment part classroom equipment booklet etc.)
  3. Evaluation and Improvement:
    • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
    • Implement improvements based on evaluations to enhance training quality.
    • Track employee skill development and retention rates.
  4. Collaboration:
    • Support the development and execution of new training initiatives.
    • Act as a resource for trainers and trainees providing guidance and support.
    • Provide operational support to the trainer during live stream training sessions including setup and equipment management.
  5. Other works assigned from line manager.

Required skills qualifications and experience:

  1. A bachelors degree or higher in Education Business Administration a technical field (Electrical Mechanical or a related area) or a similar discipline is preferred.
  2. Proficiency in English is required.
  3. Strong organizational and project management skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  5. Capability to analyze data and create reports on training effectiveness.
  6. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  7. Righttowork in the U.K.

The following skills would be advantageous for the candidate:

  • Proficiency in Chinese.
  • Automotive technical knowledge.
  • Electrical or mechanical skills as a technician.
