In this instance we are on the lookout for aPrincipal Piping Designer to be in charge of all technical activities related to the piping design of process units in Oil & Gas projects.
Location: Barcelona
Work Modality: Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Takes full responsibility for the design activities of an assigned unit.
- Reports to the project piping leader.
- Learns and handles all applicable job specifications piping classes standards and working instructions needed for the correct development of assigned work.
- Transmits instructions to and manages an assigned design team.
- Develops the most critical designs and supports less experienced designers.
- Coordinates with other specialists involved in the studies (civil stress material supports) and follows up on interfaces.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree Technical Degree.
- More than years 6 of work experience in similar function.
- Relevant experience incompanies providing engineering services to the Chemical Refining or Petrochemical Industry.
- Proficiency in Spanish andEnglish (B1 level).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral in English.
- Experience and knowledge ofSoftwares: E3D AutoCAD and Microstation.
