About the Role
Based in BYDs Sydney office in Macquarie Park this roleis an Instructional Designer/Training Designerposition andyour daytoday duties will include but not be limited to:
Learning Design:
- Develop and design engaging interactive training materials for various platforms including LMS systems like Articulate EdApp and Thinkific.
- Create visually appealing training materials using PowerPoint Google Slides and other design tools tailored to meet organizational needs.
- Ensure all learning content aligns with BYDs brand training objectives and product knowledge requirements.
Training Evaluation and Feedback:
- Design assessments and surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Collect analyze and implement feedback to continuously improve learning modules and delivery methods.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including HR sales and product teams to identify training needs and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Liaise with external vendors and contractors for collaborative projects or specialized training.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive records of training sessions participation and outcomes.
- Create detailed reports and presentations on training effectiveness and impact offering actionable insights for improvement.
Training:
- Occasionally help out by conducting training sessions either face to face or virtually
Key requirements
- Bachelors degree in Education Instructional Design Graphic Design or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in instructional design elearning development or corporate training.
- Automotive industry knowledge is an advantage but not essential.
- Training experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Proficiency with LMS platforms like Articulate or EdApp.
- Strong command of design tools including PowerPoint Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with video editing tools and webinar platforms like Final Cut Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clear concise delivery.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptability to new tools trends and methodologies in learning and development.
