About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Bilingual Business Support Specialist to join our team. This unique role combines business support personal assistant responsibilities and interpreter services to ensure seamless communication efficient operations and effective executive support.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpreter Functions (Chinese to English & English to Chinese)

  • Provide realtime interpretation during meetings phone calls and events.
  • Translate documents presentations and communications required by different business units with precision and cultural sensitivity.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between bilingual stakeholders.

Business Support

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings managing correspondence and preparing reports.
  • Coordinate and organize events conferences and business trips.
  • Maintain accurate records filing systems and databases.
  • Support project management activities including tracking deliverables and timelines.

Personal Assistant Functions

  • Occasionally provide personal assistance to the executive with errands appointments and adhoc tasks; and arrange travel itineraries and logistics from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English and Chinese(Mandarin) both written and spoken ideally hold a certification in translation or interpretation.
  • Proven experience in a similar role combining linguistic functions administration and PA.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in office software including Microsoft Office Suites.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to travel and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Automotive Industry terminology.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment.
