Role purpose: Syngenta is now seeking a full stack developer with strong technical and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in delivering innovative and robust analytical tools which enables product advancement and placement for Vegetables & Flowers Seeds Development Syngenta.
Responsibilities
- Designing building and maintaining data pipelines to support the development and deployment of machine learning models and advanced analytics.
- Implementing infrastructure as code and automating and streamlining data operations with a focus on cloudbased data processing.
- Designing and developing endtoend machine learning pipelines and analytical software.
- Supporting the design and development of user interface for webbased applications to enable data visualization.
- Implementing and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Building application containerization and orchestration within a cloud environment.
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of deployed models by implementing best practices for logging monitoring and error handling to triage issues.
- Managing software deployment and configuration in nonproduction and production environments.
Qualifications :
Must be eligible to work without sponsorship now or in the future
Critical Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelors in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of coding experience working with cloudbased services DevOps concepts and software development.
- Full Stack experience with one or more coding languages (e.g. Python Java React/Angular )
- Experience in designing building and maintaining end to end software.
- Familiarity with standard concepts and technologies used in CI/CD build and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with logging tools and monitoring tools.
- Proficiency with developing cloudnative applications and deploying to a cloud environment AWS.
- Proficiency using data manipulation tools and libraries such as SQL good to know Pandas and Spark.
Desirable Experience
- Experience in big data technologies such as Snowflake Hive and Kafka)
- Experience in AI or Machine Learning using Generative AI models and frameworks
Critical Technical Professional and Personal Capabilities
- Ability to work with data scientists and subject matter experts in R&D to understand the business requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced working environment.
