Accountabilities:
- Perform ultrasound procedures including clinical assessment in accordance with departmental standards to aid in patients diagnosis and/or treatment
- Facilitate the provision of optimal patient care observing and understanding organizational and departmental policies and procedures
- Adhere to organization mission and value statements while maintaining patient confidentiality
- Provide radiologists and vascular surgeons with high quality imaging accurate and complete preliminary technical impression discussing ultrasound findings with physician when necessary
- Perform other duties related to the job classification as required
Qualifications :
- Graduate of an accredited program in ultrasound technology
- ARDMS (CRGS) certification and RVT (CRVS) required
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario required
- Sonography Canada membership preferred
- Proficiency in all of the following:
- Peripheral arterial doppler arms/legs (ABI/TBI) PVR/segmental pressures post bypass/intervention followup
- Dialysis access evaluation
- Peripheral venous including duplex arms/legs venous mapping venous insufficiency
- Extra cranial carotid duplex
- AAA screening EVAR followup
- Proven skill in the production of highquality ultrasound images
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Physical ability to perform the expected job duties
- Demonstrated ability to organize work set objectives and establish priorities
- Demonstrated ability to foster an environment to facilitate effective teaching and learning relationships and provide effective consultation with the clinical educators
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must demonstrate Oslers Values of Respect Excellence Service Compassion Innovation and Collaboration
- Excellent attendance punctuality and work record
- May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites

Hours: Currently Days/Evenings/Nights including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
SALARY:
Minimum: $36.84 per hour
Maximum: $51.76 per hour
