Our client a global company in the manufacturing/plastic sector that designs and manufactures safety products is looking for a new Accountant in German and English to join their team in Barcelona.
Tasks
- Supervise the invoicing processes and collaborate effectively with suppliers
- Oversee the aging of accounts receivable and handle collection claims
- Responsible for managing and reviewing expense reports overseeing petty cash performing clerical tasks and handling specific client communications
- Perform accounting entries including bank cheque issuance and bank reconciliations
- Participate in ad hoc projects and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager for specific regions
- Management of KPI analysis and reporting
Requirements
- German Native or bilingual and full professionallevel of English
- Preferably a bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field
- Experience with SAP and familiarity with German GAAP is essential
- 25 years of experience in accounting with a strong understanding of accounting procedures
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet tight deadlines
