Job Description

Purchase Ledger Clerk. Sandstone Care Group

  • Location: Birchwood Park Warrington
  • Hours: 15 hours per week Monday to Friday (flexible)
  • Hourly Rate: £12.82
  • Reporting to: Senior Management Accountant

At Sandstone we’re excited to expand our finance team with a dedicated and detailoriented Purchase Ledger Clerk. If you’re looking for a parttime opportunity in a welcoming and professional environment this could be the perfect role for you!

We are delighted to be seeking a new team member to add to our growing and expanding financial department.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in keeping our finance operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include assisting with:

  • Managing purchase order software.
  • Processing purchase invoices with accuracy and care.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Preparing supplier payment runs.
  • Handling credit card reconciliation.
  • Providing general office support including answering calls.

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for someone who brings:

  • Great organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Confident communication skills especially over the phone.
  • Competence with Excel.
  • Familiarity with Xero or other accounting software (desirable but not essential – we’ll provide full training).
