Job Description
A facility near Sault Ste. Marie MI is seeking a Mental Health Therapists to join their dynamic growing team
Mental Health Therapist Opportunity:
- Schedule: MF 8am5pm
- Mental Health Therapist offers consultation and behavioral health promotion education to local schools community members Tribal Court and other agencies as requested.
- Participate in community education outreach and committees
- The Mental Health Therapist must provide crisis intervention services during and after work hours
- Acts as a behavioral health liaison between the Tribe other agencies and the local schools.
- Physical requirements: ability to sit stand and walk for extended periods of time; occasionally required to bend squat crawl; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
Mental Health Therapist Qualifications:
- Masters Specialist or Doctoral Degree required
- Field of study Psychology or MSW Social Work with a clinical background working with children adolescents and their families required
- Michigan licensure as a Psychologist Social Worker or Limited License required or eligible to obtain within 6 months of hire
