Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Account Executive to join our sales team. This role focuses on hunting and securing new business opportunities within the Value Added Reseller (VAR) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and closing sales building longterm relationships and driving revenue growth in a fastpaced competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Proactively identify engage and establish relationships with VARs to promote and sell our clients product offerings (computer hardware)
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to penetrate new accounts and expand the VAR network.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools ensuring accurate forecasting and timely followups.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong mutually beneficial relationships with VAR partners serving as their primary point of contact for all salesrelated inquiries.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends competitor activities and market dynamics to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead the negotiation process crafting tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of VAR partners and their clients.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing product and support teams to ensure seamless onboarding training and support for VARs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 35 years of experience in B2B sales business development or account management preferably within the VAR or technology sector.
- Skills: Strong prospecting negotiation and closing abilities with a proven ability to exceed sales targets.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the VAR ecosystem and an understanding of valueadded services is highly desirable. Experience or understanding of networking products/security products/cloud networking solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
- SelfStarter: Highly motivated and able to work independently with a strong sense of accountability.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience).
