Assist endusers with login issues email account setup and basic troubleshooting.
Manage user accounts passwords and permissions within defined access policies.
Perform basic user management tasks such as creating modifying and disabling user accounts in Active Directory.
Manage mailbox permissions distribution groups and shared mailboxes in Exchange Online.
Provide guidance on the use of collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams.
Monitor system performance and report anomalies to the appropriate teams.
Execute routine checks such as ensuring software updates and patches are applied (as directed).
Ensure basic system compliance with organizational policies.
Support users in setting up and using Microsoft Teams Phone System features (e.g. call forwarding voicemail setup).
Document procedures and user guides for common support queries.
Generate basic reports related to user activity or system updates when needed.
Respond to general IT requests related to M365 applications.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field. Some positions may accept an associate degree or relevant certifications in lieu of a bachelors degree.
25 years of experience in IT support roles particularly involving Microsoft 365 environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Services: Indepth knowledge of Exchange Online SharePoint Online Teams OneDrive and related applications.
Active Directory Management: Experience in creating modifying and disabling user accounts.
Basic Networking Knowledge: Understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Familiarity with IT Helpdesk Software: Experience with tools like Freshservice SysAid or similar platforms.
Soft Skills:
Excellent Communication Abilities: Capability to convey technical information clearly to nontechnical users.
ProblemSolving Aptitude: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

CompTIA A: Validates foundational IT skills.
Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate: Demonstrates expertise in deploying configuring and maintaining Windows and Microsoft 365.
Microsoft Office Specialist: Associate (Microsoft 365 Apps): Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
