Our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBIs Buildings and Placemaking practice our Places capabilities and CRTKLs multisector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on humancentric design sustainability and technology.
Arcadis Vancouver office is looking for an Healthcare Architect to join our team. You will work in highly qualified team of healthcare architects medical planners and interior designers working on a variety of healthcare projects in BC as well as across Canada and USA. This position provides the professional an opportunity to work with collaborative teams throughout various project stages delivering innovative healthcare solutions for our clients.

Whether new homes shops workplaces schools and hospitals manufacturing research and development facilities or data and distribution centers. Role accountabilities:
- Working individually or part of a larger team depending on the size of the project to complete feasibility studies development permit applications building permit applications and contract documents for tender
- Meeting with clients and representing the firm at various working groups and preparing presentation materials
- Participating in the contract administration phase of the work and administering the construction contract on behalf of the client including performing field reviews reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFI
- Working collaboratively as part of a project team consisting of job captains and intern architects as required based on the type and size of project
Qualifications :
Qualifications & Experience:
- 510 years of experience in architectural field
- Licensed architect
- Detailed understanding of all phases of project delivery and delivery models such as DesignBuild DesignBidBuild and Construction Management
- Knowledge of applicable CSA standards building codes and construction details
- Advanced Revit skills are a benefit
- Excellent communication skills are a requirement
- Local experience is desirable
The salary range for this position is $90000 $110000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
