Job Description

Our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBIs Buildings and Placemaking practice our Places capabilities and CRTKLs multisector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on humancentric design sustainability and technology. 

Arcadis Calgary office is searching for a Architectural Technologist to join its growing Government and Civic Practice Group. You will be a part of the team that will support with design development working drawings and detailing. The successful candidate will offer a robust portfolio of details and construction documents showing an array of projects and a holistic understanding of the design process. As the successful candidate you will be an outofthebox thinker with a talent for developing creative detailing solutions. The successful candidate can work hybrid or a workfromhome office environment but must be located within one hour from Calgary.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Prepare working drawings on a number of different projects using Revit
  • Prepare documentation  design development building permits and tender packages
  • Coordinate the architectural and engineering disciplines along with external consultants to produce high quality and well coordinated documents for construction
  • Support design and production teams

Qualifications :

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in Architectural Technology
  • 27 years of experience in an architectural firm
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
  • MUST be a proficient user of Revit and Microsoft Office software knowledge and experience
  • Experience with project coordination and possess a strong ability to meet tight project deadlines
  • Must submit a portfolio of work in PDF which is under 10MB or a web link to your portfolio site


Additional Information :

The salary range for this position is $65000 $95000 year (depending on years of experience and location).
