Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs within the assigned project that designed to help patients regain physical or mental functioning or adjust to their handicaps.

Educational : Bachelor’s Degree
Professional : Occupational Therapy
Experience
Minimum of Two (2) years of relevant experience
Assessment & Evaluation:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental abilities.
Identify difficulties patients face in performing daily activities such as dressing, cooking, driving, or working.
Administer standardized tests, observations, and interviews to determine the need for therapy and set specific, measurable goals.
Evaluate the home, work, and school environments to identify any obstacles to independent living and recommend adaptations or modifications.
Developing Treatment Plans:
Design personalized treatment plans based on the patient’s assessment, outlining therapeutic goals and interventions.
Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to establish the best course of action.
Focus on improving the patient’s ability to perform ADLs, enhance motor skills, cognitive functions, and promote social participation.
Therapeutic Interventions:
Provide hands-on therapy sessions tailored to improving fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, strength, and dexterity.
Use a variety of techniques, such as exercises, activities, adaptive equipment, or assistive devices, to help patients regain independence.
Teach patients adaptive strategies for completing tasks with reduced physical abilities, such as using assistive devices, modifying their environment, or implementing time management techniques.
Support patients in the rehabilitation process following surgeries, accidents, or illnesses, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, arthritis, or neurological disorders.
Education & Training:
Educate patients and their families about the condition or disability and provide strategies for managing the impact on daily activities.
Train caregivers, family members, or other healthcare professionals in how to assist patients with ADLs, home safety, and rehabilitation exercises.
Advise on ergonomic techniques to prevent further injury and improve overall health in daily tasks such as sitting, standing, or lifting.
