Job Description
EMCO Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with a strong background in C# and SQL. Experience or knowledge of the Infor OS Suite and Infor M3 ERP system is a significant advantage. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining software solutions that drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monitor and maintain databases ensuring optimal performance security and availability
- Work collaboratively with developers and analysts to refine data structures
- Engage in troubleshooting and resolving databaserelated issues
- Participate in data migration and integration projects
- Design develop and maintain web applications using C# ASP.NET and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React Angular or Vue)
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze requirements providing technical solutions that meet business needs
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries manage database operations and ensure data integrity and performance
- Build scalable and efficient backend systems integrating APIs services and databases.
- Maintain and enhance userfriendly frontend interfaces focusing on performance and responsive design
- Collaborate in the full software development lifecycle from concept and design through testing deployment and support
- Debug troubleshoot and improve existing systems and codebases
Qualifications :
- 35 years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA)
- Strong proficiency in SQL (including writing complex queries stored procedures and functions)
- Strong proficiency in C# .NET TypeScript Java and Angular
- Knowledge of XML and Restful APIs to facilitate data integration and communication
- Indepth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. SQL Server Oracle or MySQL)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) is a plus
- A knowledge of Infor OS Suite and Infor M3 ERP system is highly desirable
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloudbased architecture and microservices
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Understanding of ERP systems and enterpriselevel software solutions
