Job Description
As a Chinese SubEditor at SSENSE youll be at the heart of our online customer experience. Your mission To bring our products to life through impactful and flawless descriptions. Working closely with our content team youll help create unforgettable shopping experiences for our global customers.

Your tasks:
- Description Refinement: Subedit translated product descriptions ensuring adherence to style guidelines and brand consistency.
- Rigorous Quality Control: Ensure content accuracy and quality by applying strict standards and identifying inconsistencies.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Quality Control Specialist to improve processes and resolve guideline and glossaryrelated issues. Provide constructive feedback to translators to help them improve their translations and better understand brand requirements. Collaborate with the Quality Control team to identify training needs and contribute to the development of training programs.
- Team Development: Contribute to the teams evolution by suggesting process improvements and providing creative support.
- Time Management: Adhere to deadlines and quality objectives by effectively managing time and priorities.
Qualifications :
How To Excel In This Role:
- Bachelors degree in Chinese Literature Linguistics Translation Journalism or a related field
- A minimum of 35 years experience in translation and subediting ideally as part of a content team in a highvolume production environment for a Chinesespeaking market
- Mastery of Chinese grammar spelling and usage including ability to craft culturallysensitive texts
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Chinese
- A strong proofreading and subbing background in fashion ecommerce an asset
