Job Description
As a Project Engineer your key responsibilities will be but not limited to:
- Review and ensure compliance with technical specifications required for projects.
- Specify process equipment and components including pressure vessels piping valves pumps instruments & controls etc.
- Work with the design team to create all designs and drawings needed for projects
- Define scope of supply for suppliers and write procurement specifications and requests for quotation.
- Review and approve equipment design.
- Inspection of equipment.
- Visit clients or suppliers at their domestic or international locations.
Qualifications :
You have these:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Environmental Mechanical Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the production of packaged process equipment preferably for treatment of industrial water streams.
- Thorough understanding of packaged process equipment utilizing pumps the water hydraulics valves instrumentation and controls and the manufacturing processes utilized for packaging of same.
- Knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
- Experienced in design of piping systems pressure vessels and steel structures.
- Ability to specify size study control valves piping and pumps.
- Prioritization organization multitask ability plan and problem solving skills.
- An innate ability to close out task lists i.e. get things done.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Expert level required in: Google apps suite (Gmail Docs and Sheets).
- Intermediate level required in: AutoCAD.
