Provide high standard of clinical care and expertise in assessment, investigation, diagnosis and treatment to patients requiring speech therapy services, put rehabilitation plans for patients specially autism and cochlear implant patients. Involved in the continuous quality improvement activities of the department and hospital to achieve the goals of HMG.

Education/ Professional Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Therapy or Phonetics or Related degree
Experience
Two (2) years of practical experience in his / her specialty after obtaining the higher degree
Clinical Expertise in Speech Therapy:
In-depth knowledge of speech and language development, speech and swallowing disorders, and related clinical issues.
Proficiency in conducting comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders.
Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans to address specific patient needs and goals.
Expertise in treating various speech-language disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, aphasia, language delays, and cognitive-communication deficits.
Ability to assess and treat swallowing difficulties (dysphagia) and provide therapy strategies for safe eating and drinking.
Therapeutic Techniques and Interventions:
Skilled in using evidence-based therapies and techniques such as articulation therapy, language intervention, voice therapy, and cognitive-communication therapy.
Ability to implement and monitor therapy programs, adjusting strategies as needed based on patient progress.
Experience with advanced therapeutic tools and technologies used in speech therapy, such as assistive communication devices or software.
Patient-Centered Care:
Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages, particularly when working with children or elderly individuals who may have special needs or sensitivities.
Excellent skills in educating patients and their families on therapeutic interventions, goals, and progress.
Ability to adapt therapy techniques and approaches to meet the unique needs and preferences of individual patients.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear explanations and instructions for patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Ability to provide clear feedback and report progress to patients and their families.
