Responsible for Installing, programing, configuring, commissioning, maintaining, trouble shooting, performing diagnostics, and repairing of fire alarm systems and fire suppression systems as per the set guideline.

Education/ Professional Qualification
Educational : Diploma
Experience
At least two (2) years’ experience in the same field.
Technical Proficiency:
In-depth understanding of fire alarm system components, wiring, and programming.
Ability to install, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems, including detectors, control panels, and signaling devices.
Familiarity with networking systems and integration with other building security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control).
Problem-Solving:
Strong diagnostic skills to identify and fix issues with fire alarm systems.
Ability to perform system upgrades, repairs, and reprogramming as needed.
Regulatory Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of NFPA 72, local fire codes, and safety regulations regarding fire alarms.
Ability to ensure fire alarm systems are compliant with industry standards.
Attention to Detail:
Accuracy in testing and verifying the functionality of installed or repaired systems.
Meticulous record-keeping and documentation of service reports, system specifications, and inspections.
Communication Skills:
Effective communication skills for working with clients, providing explanations of services, and advising on necessary system updates or repairs.
Ability to write clear and concise service reports, maintenance logs, and other documentation.
Customer Service:
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
Ability to provide training to clients on the proper use of fire alarm systems.
