About BLING
We are building ethical technology to break the vicious circle of everyday financial stress for 150M Europeans.
In June 2020 we launched the first free 100 cash advance (with an optional 7 instant transfer) offering an alternative to expensive overdrafts. When we ceased operations in April 2022 following a regulatory change we had gathered 1.2 million registered users to whom we had granted more than 1 million cash advances for a total of 61 million.
Last year with the trust and support of our community we returned with an even more powerful product: an account a debit card tools to control your finances and no hidden fees. We recently brought back the cash advance feature with the aim to help everyone who wants to deal with their shortterm financing needs and look forward with a greater peace of mind.
Tasks
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst in Barcelona to strengthen our Data team in a productled B2C tech startup.
You will collaborate on projects at the intersection of analytics data modeling and visualization to drive key business decisions while ensuring data is a critical asset throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities :
- Advanced Data Analysis: Conduct indepth analyses to support business and product decisions including A/B tests and adhoc data investigations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex data insights into easily digestible information for key teams including Product and Marketing.
- KPI Management & Data Quality: Maintain KPIs ensure data accuracy and apply best practices to safeguard the integrity of reports and dashboards.
- Data Accessibility: Facilitate data access across the organization by building selfservice tools and training stakeholders.
Requirements
Technical Skills :
You will need to be a queen or king of SQL plus meet the following requirements:
- Have 4 years of experience in product analytics
- Experience with data warehousing or data modeling (eg. Kimball Data Vault OBT)
- Experience with at least one visualization tool (eg Metabase Tableau Power BI Looker)
- Experience with AB tests
- You have worked in technical B2C startups or scaleups with a product and userlifecycle focus
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems using data
- Be fluent in English
- Be fluent in at least one programming language (eg. Python).
- Believe in the importance of documentation as a core part of any programming discipline.
- Bonus Points:
- Familiarity with Docker cloud providers (AWS) data engineering techniques and fluency in French or Spanish
- Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL
