The Role:
A Senior Site Manager will contribute to Gentoo Medias mission of growing and developing its online gambling affiliate business by overseeing and managing a specific
market running its entire portfolio of websites. Senior Site Managers will be tasked with creating strategies in collaboration with the SEOContent team with a view to realizing the strategic objectives of the Publishing department i.e. defending growing and diversifying the business as they relate to content SEO design product and procedures. Furthermore A Senior Site Manager will be the key person in charge of the reporting developing and creating long term strategies for their market.
Tasks
What you will be doing:
- Ensure that there is an updated record of performing pages for for each website and communicates these to the relevant teams including the Outreach team
- Ensure that all content follows guidelines and is aligned with standards and guidelines provided by the Head of Publishing and the Head of SEO.
- Proactively work on any checklists of items to be implemented across their websites and delegate tasks accordingly
- Collaborate with the Tech Design and PO teams to ensure SEO best practises are followed on all their websites
- Point of contact for all stakeholders
- Lead the monthly market meetings and ensure slides are updated with correct information
- Constantly monitor competitor websites in order to discover and ll content gaps as well as gaps in relation to partners and technology
- Assist the Outreach and Business Development teams in assigning resources from the SEOContent team for media partnership projects as well as help set up processes for the smooth execution and delivery of content
- Help the Senior Content Team Lead in onboarding new team members
- Actively work on developing their management skills both independently and as part of courses and/or events organized by the company
Technical Responsibilities
- Ensure that all necessary SEO and content checks are performed prior to website launches or redesigns and potential issues are fixed before going live
- Monitor and report to the Head of Publishing and the wider management team on the status of traffic and rankings for all websites as well as on the progress made with achieving our strategic objectives
- Ensure that our websites meet the latest compliance requirements stipulated by our partners and regulatory bodies and oversee all required updates
- Ensure that all websites are regularly checked by them and discovered issues are addressed immediately
Requirements
Who we are looking for:
- At least 2 years experience of working in a site manager role within SEO or Content Marketing
- Native / Bilingual Proficiency in Finnish
- Experience of working within the online gaming industry is considered an advantage
- Experience in using all major SEO and Content tools
- Understanding of technology and how it impacts SEO and Content Marketing
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Demonstrated passion for executing tasks
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Keeping up to date with all the latest changes in their markets and in the wider gambling industry
