Role Overview:
The successful Senior Business Process Analyst will be responsible for detecting evaluating and nbsp;
improving implementing measuring and documenting processes across various segments of the bank to and nbsp;
achieve continuous improvement for productivity and efficiencies whilst ensuring alignment to key and nbsp;
strategic objectives and minimise risk.
Key Duties and amp; Responsibilities:
and nbsp;Process Analysis and Evaluation: Identify and optimise business processes focusing on and nbsp;
automation digitisation and necessary controls to ensure the best fit solutions.
and nbsp;Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyse data to identify trends bottlenecks and and nbsp;
improvement areas conducting reviews and elicitation for deeper insights.
and nbsp;CrossSegment Collaboration: Work with crossfunctional teams to drive process improvements and nbsp;
using elicitation techniques (e.g. interviews focus groups) and assessment methods (e.g. voice and nbsp;
of customer value analysis).
and nbsp;Stakeholder Management: Analyse stakeholders and develop communication strategies to build and nbsp;
relationships and secure buyin for process changes.
and nbsp;Continuous Improvement: Assess process maturity to identify improvement areas and drive and nbsp;
innovation through methodologies like Six Sigma Lean Total Quality Management (TQM) Kaizen and nbsp;
PlanDoCheckAct (PDCA) 5 Whys and Business Process Management (BPM).
and nbsp;Performance Metrics: Create and implement metrics to measure process improvement success and nbsp;
establish baselines and conduct postimplementation reviews to assess outcomes and identify and nbsp;
refinements.
and nbsp;Training and Development: Provide training and support for successful process adoption identify and nbsp;
needs for refresher courses and offer trainthetrainer opportunities.
and nbsp;Change Management: Effectively manage change by anticipating potential challenges communicating and nbsp;
changes and addressing concerns proactively.
and nbsp;Risk Mitigation and Impact Assessments: Ensure process changes align with organisational and nbsp;
standards and assess potential upstream/downstream impacts. Identify and mitigate risks using and nbsp;
Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and other risk assessment tools.
and nbsp;Tools and Techniques: Use process mapping tools (e.g. Business Process Modeling Notation and nbsp;
(BPMN) workflows use case diagrams data flow diagrams activity diagrams Suppliers Inputs and nbsp;
Process Outputs and Customers (SIPOC)) to analyse current and future state processes.
and nbsp;Documentation: Capture analyse and document current and future state processes and develop and nbsp;
procedural documentation (e.g. maps diagrams procedural manuals guides and user manuals).
and nbsp;CrossTeam Collaboration: Work with Business Analysts Project Managers Change Managers and nbsp;
Technical Leads and Process Analysts to deliver optimised solutions and ensure enduser adoption and nbsp;
throughout projects and businessasusual BAU initiatives.
Qualifications and Key Skills:
and nbsp;A Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Systems Computer Science or a and nbsp;
related field. A masters degree is a plus.
and nbsp;Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement as a Process Analyst Business Analyst and nbsp;
or related role with proven experience as a team lead.
and nbsp;Experienced working on agile and/or waterfall projects across diverse industries including and nbsp;
finance retail and healthcare with a strong preference for the financial sector.
Technical Skills
and nbsp;Strong knowledge of lean methodologies process optimisation and process reengineering and nbsp;
techniques (e.g. Define Measure Analyse Improve and Control (DMAIC)).
and nbsp;Proficiency in process mapping and modelling tools (e.g. Visio) and techniques (e.g. and nbsp;
BPMN).
and nbsp;Familiarity with process methodologies tools and techniques.
and nbsp;Data analysis and visualisation skills using tools such as Excel Power BI or Tableau.
and nbsp;Proficiency in documenting procedures manuals and other procedural documentation for end and nbsp;
users.
Certification
Preferred:
and nbsp;Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
and nbsp;Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) or PMIProfessional in Business
Administration (PBA) certification.
