Our company seeks an Early Childhood LBS1 Intervention Specialist to join our dynamic team! We are committed to providing a supportive environment where education professionals can excel make a meaningful difference in young learners lives and advance their careers.
As the SPED Teacher you will work in a collaborative and innovative setting delivering individualized instruction to preschoolaged children with developmental delays and disabilities. You will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters growth and achievement for all students.
The ideal candidate will develop and implement individualized instructional plans to address each childs unique needs while fostering a structured safe and inclusive classroom environment. Leveraging effective behavior management strategies you will promote positive interactions and a productive learning atmosphere. Your responsibilities include providing direct instruction in both individual and smallgroup settings assessing student progress regularly and adapting teaching strategies to meet IEP goals. Collaboration with families therapists and other educators is essential to support holistic development and you will utilize playbased developmentally appropriate practices to nurture cognitive social emotional and physical growth in young learners.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Possess a Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Hold an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement.
