Job Description

Profile: Purchase Executive

Experience: 01 to 02 years

Roles:

1. Procurement Activities:
Source and procure raw materials products or services based on company requirements.
Evaluate and select suppliers based on price quality reliability and service.
Negotiate contracts terms and pricing to achieve cost savings while ensuring quality.

2. Vendor Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Regularly evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and timelines.
Develop a robust vendor database to ensure alternatives are available in case of supply issues.

3. Inventory Control:
Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
Coordinate with the warehouse team for stock updates and timely delivery of goods.
Analyse inventory trends and forecast future purchase needs.

4. Purchase Order Management:
Prepare and process purchase orders in a timely manner.
Ensure accurate documentation and recordkeeping of all purchasing activities.
Track and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays.

5. Cost Management:
Identify costreduction opportunities while maintaining quality and operational standards.
Conduct market research to stay updated on product pricing trends and innovations.
Analyse procurement spending and generate reports to highlight costsaving initiatives.

6. Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure procurement processes adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
Maintain accurate records of purchases contracts and vendor agreements.
Generate and present procurement reports to management as required.

7. Crossfunctional Collaboration:
Work closely with the production operations and finance teams to align procurement strategies with business goals.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements.
Support in resolving supplierrelated disputes or issues in coordination with other teams.

Qualifications:
Any Graduation
1 to 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing (adjust based on role level).
Strong negotiation communication and analytical skills.
Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques and inventory control.
Familiarity with market research and data analysis methods.
