Job Title: Shell Scripting/Linux Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Shell Scripting Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems Ansible scripting and shell scripting. This role involves managing and migrating approximately 300 shell scripts running across multiple environments identifying and fixing gaps and ensuring seamless functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop manage and troubleshoot shell scripts to support operational processes.
- Migrate existing shell scripts from one platform to another and address any functional gaps.
- Utilize Ansible scripting to automate deployments and system configurations.
- Work with Linux environments preferably with experience in migrating from SUSE to Ubuntu.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
Requirements:
- 24 years of experience in Shell scripting.
- Handson experience with Linux systems.
- Proficiency in Ansible scripting.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with SUSE and Ubuntu environments (preferred).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with migrating SUSE to Ubuntu.
- Strong understanding of Linux system administration.
