Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Delivers delegated elements of an annual business plan to time and budget.
  • Manages and facilitates external certification audits.
  • Provides expertise and guidance in supporting achievement of new certifications where appropriate.
  • Responsible for organising and facilitating internal audits in the audit programme.
  • Accountable for leading audits and producing audit reports.
  • Utilises comprehensive expertise and investigates and interprets root cause analysis of instances of non-conformance, including recommending corrective measures and long-term preventative measures.
  • Coordinates reviewing of management system content for appropriateness, improvement, and implementation.
  • Contributes to the identification of new systems and processes to drive efficiency, recommending improvements and innovations.
  • Ensures information for quality reports is available, accurate and delivered within agreed timescales.
  • Accountable to produce communication articles, plans and communication collateral.
  • Coordinates activities reported in management reviews, collating, analysing, and presenting data and key metrics, analyses trends and provides recommendations and guidance.
  • Provides recommendations for action to mitigate risk and improve management system effectiveness.
  • Provides specialised expertise and knowledge to support on business development activities.
  • Accountable for the development and delivery of training.
  • Manages and monitors performance of a supply chain, including support to suppliers as appropriate through training, guidance, and audits of their QMS capabilities.
  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll Need To Have

  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
  • 15+ years’ experience relevant university degree (e.g. construction, engineering) or equivalent.
  • International experience: experience of working internationally (preference KSA experience).

Desired candidate profile

  • Quality Management Systems (QMS): Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining QMS in line with international standards (e.g., ISO 9001), ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Proficient in identifying inefficiencies and implementing continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Ability to conduct internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Strong skills in identifying the root causes of quality issues and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Quality Control (QC): Deep understanding of quality control methods, including inspection, testing, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Ability to establish key quality performance indicators (KPIs), track quality data, and prepare reports that highlight quality trends, issues, and improvements.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Experience in managing supplier relationships and ensuring that materials, products, or services meet quality standards.
  • Risk Management: Ability to assess risks related to quality, develop risk mitigation plans, and ensure that quality issues are managed proactively.
  • Training and Development: Skills in developing and delivering training programs to ensure employees and teams understand quality standards and their role in maintaining them.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Experience leading quality assurance teams, managing personnel, and fostering a culture of quality across the organization.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of industry-specific regulations (e.g., FDA, CE, OSHA, or ISO regulations) and the ability to ensure compliance with these standards in all quality-related activities.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to interpret and analyze data to make informed decisions about quality processes, product design, and process improvements.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills to address quality challenges and make decisions based on facts and data.
