We are looking for a pool of talent to join our Facility Operations team. The talents could be varied:
- Shift Leads positions are open for experienced talents with more than 5 years of experience
- Shift Engineers positions are open for fresh graduates until up to 5 years of experience in similar roles
The Electrical/Mechanical Shift Engineers will be responsible for the installation maintenance inspection and repair of our electrical/mechanical systems and equipment in our Data Center. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical/mechanical systems and be able to troubleshoot and diagnose issues quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical supervision of the operation maintenance and repair of all critical environment systems while maintaining 100% uptime to all critical power systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and conduct subassembly repairs on critical electrical/mechanical systems and equipment in compliance with relevant procedures to ensure maximum uptime and availability of the data centers infrastructure including but not limited to HVAC systems cooling equipment and plumbing systems
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact the performance and efficiency of critical electrical/mechanical systems and equipment in the data center ensuring continuous operations and optimal uptime
- Inspect buildings grounds and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
- Troubleshoot evaluate and recommend system upgrades.
- Respond to customer service requests in a timely manner and to emergency calls (24x7 hrs).
- Work with vendors and contractors to ensure their work meets Client standards
- Produce monthly executive reports to clients and conduct annual review of system/component EndofLife (EOL).
- Develop and keep up to date all site electrical/mechanical procedures including EOPs SOPs and MOPs.
- Adherence to all quality health & safety and environmental policies within the Data Centre domain.
- Collaborate closely with Network Team and other crossfunctional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure maximum uptime and optimal performance of the data centers critical infrastructure

Technical skill(s):
- Strong knowledge of in either electrical or mechanical systems (including HVAC systems cooling equipment and plumbing systems)
- An excellent understanding and experience of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment including: Feeders Transformers Switchgear UPS systems Battery banks ATS/STS units PDU units generators DRUPS etc.
- Experience of complex automatic control equipment including relay logic programmable logic controllers (PLCs) building management systems and their integration with the data center infrastructure.
- Experience of medium voltage distribution systems and associated switch gear and protection equipment.
- Experience of MV and LV switching procedures and safety protocols.
- Able to converse in English will be an advantage

Education and Experience:
- Minimum D3 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

- Experienced and willing to work in shifts
