Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join their healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective medication management for patients. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology acute care practices and the ability to provide exceptional patient care.
Duties:
- Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide patient education on medication usage potential side effects and interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans.
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust medication therapies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed and patient interactions.
- Stay updated on new medications therapies and best practices in pharmacy care.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy from Canadian Universities
- License to practice in BC
- superior interpersonal skills;
- strong verbal and written communication skills;
- commitment to providing exceptional customer service;
- Kroll
- 4 years experience in retail in CANADA
- Valid pharmacist license in the province of practice.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and medical terminology is essential.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients effectively and healthcare teams.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Compounding and dispensing prescribed medications
- Assist on leading a successful team and able to handle stress.
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers and healthcare providers
- Checking prescriptions for proper dosage
- Acting as an advisor to all customers
- Maintaining medical profiles
- willing to learn compounding and offer supplements counseling
- Evaluating all labeling packaging and advertising of drugs
