Job Description
Employee Responsibilities:
- Provide biopharmaceutics support to projects in various stages of drug development through experimental testing in a laboratory setting
- Execute testing protocols including USP dissolution solubility determination precipitation and flux assays
- Develop and execute quantitative analytical methodologies to support determination of drug content from in vitro dissolution studies
- Working knowledge of HPLC and UV assay techniques as they apply to quantitation of drugs in solution
- Evaluation of novel protocols and instrumentation to address biopharmaceutical questions (e.g. realtime measurement of particle size during dissolution testing)
- Document findings via an electronic lab notebook system and through technical reports
- Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and must be able to balance analytical rigor and resource burn with the studys goals
Qualifications :
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
- Customer focused comfortable in a fast paced environment a problem solver and has a positive optimistic attitude
- Ability to communicate and collaborate well in a cross functional environment
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail strong computational ability
- Strong computer scientific and organizational skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in biology chemistry biochemistry biophysics or other related degree concentration or equivalent directlyrelated experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one fulltime year of college in related major)
Background in physical chemistry biochemistry biophysics or allied disciplines also desirable

Position is MondayFriday 8:00am 5:00pm Overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Groton CT are encouraged to apply.
