Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsibility for the preparation of yearly plan or schedule on maintenance and calibration of measuring instruments and equipment. Handles plant projects and look for qualified suppliers and subcontractors to handle facilities maintenance and improvement jobs and check their completion and the quality of work based on the agreed specifications and job scope. He/she also contact the external customers and government agencies to comply with regulatory requirements on plant facilities.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. To prepare and control workloads and expenditure on general maintenance requirements for the Sika Hamatite.
2. Update and maintain an efficient system of records and drawings covering all services relating to utilities plant and machinery.
3. Design and prepare specifications for modifications to existing and new installations.
4. Obtain tenders against specifications from specialist contractors for discussion with the Project Consultant and Factory Manager.
5. Recommendation of specialist contractors.
6. Coordination of project works associated with plant/services from initial investigations and design through to installation and commissioning. This is to include the preparation and control of workloads and expenditure for all aspects of the project.
7. Ensure that an effective maintenance schedule is set up and adhered to for all production equipment.
8. To be conversant and keep a breast with current and proposed legislation on all aspects of factory services including Health and Safety at work.
9. Action follow as ISO9001 ISO14001 ISO45001 and ISO50001 including the rules of company.
10. Provide training programmed on staff safety prevention and control accidents fire and first aid drills.
11. Recommend specific items relating to factory services for inclusion in the yearly budgets.
12. Other duties as assigned by the Factory Manager.
Qualifications :
Education
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering .
Experiences and Background
35 years experience as Maintenance supervisor
Experienced in facilities maintenance and improvement in manufacturing
Able to communicate effectively to suppliers government agencies and customers
Knowhow on government regulations and comply with regulatory requirements
Can communicate both Thai and English languages
Computer skills (MS Word and Excel)
