Job Description
Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced Electronics Technician supporting its manufacturing facility in Palm Bay Florida. The successful candidate will be a selfstarter with excellent written and communication skills. This position offers development opportunities working for a leader in the design and manufacture of highperformance analog semiconductors. If you are qualified and interested we invite you to apply.
Qualifications :
Education Requirements:
AS or AA degree in electronics mechatronics or military training in electronics.
Experience Requirements / Skills:
Mechanical skills
Demonstrable use of common hand tools.
Electronic skills
Understanding of Ohms Law and interpreting schematics wiring diagrams and technical drawings. Capable in troubleshooting PC boards with potentially failed electronics on them.
Use of DVMs Power supplies function generators oscilloscopes.
Programing skills on PC based applications.
Soldering Skills (JSTD001 Certification)
Building repairing and testing electronic devices.
Using soldering tools and technologies on PC boards.
Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Demonstrated problem solving ability.
Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills
Interface with multiple groups within the department to assure efficient flow of information and equipment status.
Interpret and follow written documents such as SOPs and safety rules.
Familiar with basic operating systems like Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 40lbs.
Additional Information :
Hours are Mon Fri 8am to 4:30pm.
